While ajayu is an initiative of the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo", intended as a means of expression without institutional boundaries and reflective space for the exchange and discussion of ideas, concepts and experiences emerging discipline of psychology. Therefore, theoretical contributions are welcome conceptual, epistemological considerations, experimental inputs and test all make a positive contribution to our science, from inside or outside.

Ajayu intended as also the motivation of the scholars of psychology, becoming a self-improvement tool for them.

Ajayu magazine as a body of scientific diffusion Psychology Department started as an initiative of Dr. Eric Roth 2002, within its operating plan as Director of the Department of Psychology at the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo". With the full support of Mr. Jaime Gómez, organized the first number with the intent to disseminate scientific knowledge produced in the School of Psychology.

It was thought initially to create a space for dissemination of research conducted by teachers of psychology. Then we considered the possibility of publishing the best undergraduate thesis under the supervision of the tutors in the following article armed APA guidelines.

With the creation of the graduate degrees in Psychology (specialties and Master), the magazine is published in the middle of the best work related to degree studies.

The 2009 will initiate discussions with the system SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) for the incorporation of our magazine. At the same time enters LatindexAjayu, international journal system which is incorporated.

Current projects are concerned with the inclusion of items of colleagues abroad, in addition to the development of joint research with national and international universities.
We published 119 articles in 17 issues distributed in 9 volumes. Publication requirements currently requires evaluation by international experts, we have the support of the University of Granada and the Sapienza University of Rome and the Free University of Brussels and Systemic Perspectives of Argentina.

The vision of the magazine Ajayu, the same one that is shared by the national and regional authorities of the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" is to turn into the most important modal of the country for the scientific spreading of the psychology. For it, it will look for his international accreditation and his entail and recognition on the part of indexes and national and international auditors of this matter.

The principal sponsor of the Magazine Ajayu is the Regional Unit La Paz of Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”.
