ABOUT THE JOURNAL

 

Basic Information

Ciencia y Cultura, a periodical publication of Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”, initiates in 1997 as a proposition of Carlos Machicado, then acting Academic Vicerector of La Paz. The first two issues included several ideas, thoughts and debates originated in the teacher’s activity of the different Departments in the institution. Starting with the third issue our interests broaden up and we set up a debate on education with articles and ideas of international authors. Then, the decision is taken: Ciencia y Cultura is going to be a printed periodical devoted to the intellectual, scientific and artistic production not only from Universidad Católica, but also from researchers and academics from other regions.

 

Indexation

Ciencia y Cultura has been indexed in Revistas Bolivianas until it has been indexed in SCIELO.

 

Copyright

Authors of the different articles yield their property rights to Ciencia y Cultura only until the article is published in our periodical. Afterwards, they can use their work in new editions or in other ways media supports.
