ABSTRACT The TiO2 and a novel binary oxide SiO/TiO2 was prepared by a new modified sol-gel method using atrane route were triethanolamine is a complex reagent acting how hydrolysis retarding has been favorably the homogeneity distribution in the oxide SiO2/TiO2 and your photocatalytic activity was investigated to phenol oxidation. The factors, such as the calcinations temperature of synthesis of oxide TiO2 and the ratio of SiO2:TiO2 in photocatalyst activity was investigated. It was showed that the TiO2 obtained at 600°C with high content of anatase structure has a better activity what TiO2 P25 Degussa. The additions of SiO2 enhance your activity significantly for phenol elimination in function of adsorption properties
