Abstract

OLIVARES, Barlin Orlando et al. Physical Natural Characterization of Indigenous Community Kashaama for Sustainable Land Management. RevActaNova. [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.2, pp.143-164. ISSN 1683-0789.

The objective of study was to characterize the natural physical environment of the indigenous community Kari'ña Kashaama, Anzoategui, as a first step for sustainable land management. Three phases were developed, which consisted of document review, phase hierarchy of information through digitization and organization of the data collected and last phase consisting of descriptive analysis, organization and interpretation of all the collected data. The characterization facilitates analysis of their complex interactions and allows forward proposals to make better use, in an attempt to obtain a harmonious and sustained use of resources.
