The presenttext provides distinctive information regarding the quantitative and qualitative methodologies, which are the most used forms -in social sciences in general and particularly in communications-  to tackle different issues and/or social events. The main idea revolves around the fact that there is no better methodology in order to do research, but just a more accurate form according to necessities or circumstances.
