Abstract

MARQUEZ GONZALES, Luz Karina. STUDY ON THE FACTORS AFFECTING ACADEMIC MOTIVATION WITH EMPHASIS ON EMOTIONS AND FORMATIVE EVALUATION, IN SECONDARY STUDENTS AT THE TIQUIPAYA EDUCATIONAL UNIT - COCHABAMBA-BOLIVIA. Punto Cero [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.43, pp.70-85. ISSN 1815-0276.

In the first instance, the present work starts from the definition of motivation, its different types, some theories about it, its relationship with emotions and the formative evaluation from the perspective of different authors who have studied it over time. Subsequently, the data obtained in the theoretical analysis is contrasted with a field study in which adolescents between 14 and 17 years old from a private educational institution in the department of Cochabamba participated. The main objective was to investigate which are the motivational factors that intervene for a better academic performance in high school students, both in face-to-face and virtual classes.

Keywords : Motivation; motivational factors; academic performance; formative evaluation.
