Abstract

This study aims to examine the frequency with which children between the ages of 1 and 5 make use of new mobile devices and their relationship to health.A retrospective systematic review was carried out in Pubmed and Scielo; Of a total of 145 articles collected, 43 were included, whose inclusion and exclusion criteria were: publication from 2008 to 2021, without predilection for any specific methodology, study variables (physical, psychological and social health), no studies in animals, Repeated works without relevance to the study, the quality of the evidence was analyzed in relation to the value of p and the 95% confidence index for each variable in question. The use of mobile devices> 2hrs/day is associated with the risk of development of alterations to the health of children aged 1 to 5 years, a proactive vigilance of the tutors is needed.
