Introduction:
COVID-19 pandemic has been a miscellaneous event, affecting individuals' perception as subjects and intersubjective relations, the state as a referent of representation/identity was disrupted, and health/disease conditions were externalized as results of social relations, Mood disorders, social marking and fear are predictable effects, which is why knowing available validated instruments to study them becomes relevant.
Main objective:
Asses the validity of DASS-21, FCV-19S y the COVID-19 Stigma questionnaire in urban Bolivian setting.
Method:
This paper examines the validity of three instruments: DASS-21, FCV-19S and a Spanish translation of the COVID-19 Stigma questionnaire, for urban Bolivian context, on a pilot study in Cochabamba city comprised by 30 randomized subjects, based on Cronbach's alpha and factorial analysis.
Results:
After considering context, internal consistency and validity was found on DASS-21 and Stigma questionnaire, under sociodemographic conditions similar to those of the pilot.
Conclusion:
the validated instruments are apt to apply in Bolivia, with proper considerations to optimize effectiveness.
