Abstract

ALBO, Xavier  and  RUIZ, Carmen Beatriz. Dialogue-The Constitutional Assembly: an assessment by several voices. Tinkazos [online]. 2010, vol.13, suppl.1, pp.89-108. ISSN 1990-7451.

An inside view of the Constitutional Assembly is provided by three politicians whose participation and contribution were important at the time they were called upon to act. Guillermo Richter, Carlos Romero and Samuel Doria Medina talk about the main achievements and frustrations of the process, its protagonists, the issues that did not come to light in public, and the bridges and roadblocks along the way. This dialogue was held towards the end of the process, when the final touches were being put to the new constitution.

Keywords : Constitutional Assembly; constitutional reform; structural reforms; plurinational state; autonomies; political participation; social participation.
