Abstract
GUTIERREZ ANDRADE, Osvaldo Walter and DELGADILLO SANCHEZ, Jorge Antonio. Small inclusive businesses of vulnerable populations in the city of Cochabamba (foodfield). Perspectivas [online]. 2020, n.46, pp.47-80. ISSN 1994-3733.
The research is about small entrepreneurs, related to the field of food, in the city of Cochabamba, who are embedded in an ecosystem where institutions and organizations are weakly articulated. This disadvantages individual and/or family entrepreneurs who do not see in institutions supporting their efforts to conduct their business. Its characteristics are: informality, family productive organization, little technological innovation, limited health measures, low prices, no access to formal credit institutions, street supply of its products and little competitiveness. Entrepreneurs generally lack sufficient training to develop a business plan. The basis was created for further formulation of intervention initiatives, which are directed to strengthen the ecosystem that shelters them and to develop articulately joint strategies and programmes (institutions and entrepreneurs), which have a positive impact on their entrepreneurial capacity.
