Abstract

CALIZAYA DORADO, Víctor Alcides. "Intercolonialism": colonial configuration processes. Rev. de Inv. Educ. [online]. 2012, vol.5, n.3, pp.207-219. ISSN 1997-4043.

The configuration of the human personality is unavoidably subjected to its immediate surrounding and to the context in which it exists. It always depends on physical, cognitive, affective and symbolic means of culture in order to build up itself. This way, cultural learning can define its adherence or exclusión to the culture itself. Analyzing different definitions of culture configuration, interculturality modernity/colonialism, this research summarizes a psychosocial colonial stage of the individual. Among diverse social relationships developed by the individual within the society it is needed to include the collective imagination of the "other", which influences and guides the configurative process of an agreed domination: intercolonialism.

Keywords : cultural configuration; cultural patterns; interculturality; modernity; colonialism; colonization; socialization agents; social relationships; intercolonialism.
