The National System of Researchers in Mexico has become a reference at a national and international level given the quality criteria for entry into it. In this research we explore what are the individual, social and structural factors that enable women scientists in Tamaulipas, Mexico, to join, develop and consolidate in sciencia, starting from their entry and permanence in the SNI.
