Abstract

RAZA-CARRILLO, Diego F. Graduate students' satisfaction: elements of influence and policies for its improvement in a university in Ecuador. Investigación y Negocios [online]. 2022, vol.15, n.25, pp.39-52. ISSN 2521-2737.

Abstract Based on a bibliographic review on satisfaction and quality in the university, a criticism of the business ap-proach of these concepts is made, accepting that despite this it is important to understand the evaluation that the student makes of their university experience. The evaluation system of the university in which the study was carried out and its components are sum-marized below, and from the processing of its more than 250 thousand records in the selected depart-ment and period, it is determined that the elements with the greatest incidence in the general assessment made by the student corresponds to the conces-sioned non-academic services (restaurant, cafeteria, printing and photocopies), followed by the non-academic services managed directly by the university (internet within the campus and electronic access to the parking lot). In the academic aspects, the elements that affect a lower evaluation of the student were the contribution of the subjectto professional training and the academic level of the subject
