Family as an institution within a society has proven to be the psychological, physical and social support of their members facing a crisis caused by the pandemic COVID -19. The systemic review aimed to analyze the family adjustment process facing lockdown and social distancing in the COVID -19 context. The research was carried out taking account the methodology of the Prisma statement. Scientific information was obtained from Scopus EBSCO, Google Scholar and Proquets. The process of identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion was developed in a period of two months. Conclusions Families have adopted the COVID-19 pandemic turning their home in multiactivities, however, the adjustment process has not been the same for all the families.
