Abstract

Currently, teaching through digital tools has been increasing since the times of pandemic, and the worldwide confinement in educational institutions at the secondary level. Therefore, there was a need to interpret the use and usefulness of digital tools during the teaching and learning process. It was carried out under a hermeneutic methodology, with a qualitative approach, for which 9 expert teachers were interviewed through a guide of semi-structured questions. As a result, it can be observed that digital tools are pedagogically useful, since their main characteristics are flexibility, they are user-friendly and can be used in different types of teaching, whether individual, collaborative or cooperative. In conclusion, the use and usefulness of digital tools favor teaching and learning in technology-mediated education.
