The investigative culture in a higher education institution is essential for scientific production, due to this the present investigation had the objective of establishing the relationship between investigative culture and scientific production in the performing arts teachers of a private university in Lima. The type of research was basic, with a quantitative approach, applying the questionnaire that measures investigative culture and the questionnaire that measures scientific production, hypothetical deductive method, transactional correlational level and non-experimental design. The population was 23 teachers of the performing arts career at the university under study. As a result, a higher percentage was obtained in the deficient level in both research culture and scientific production; concluding that there is a significant positive correlation between research culture and scientific production in performing arts teachers at a private university in Lima, 2021.
