In March 2020, the Peruvian government declared a health emergency due to COVID-19, establishing mandatory confinement or quarantine, and for this reason, virtual, distance or remote education was implemented. This context demanded the implementation of actions from the directive management, summoning all the actors of the educational community to guarantee the continuity of the educational service. The objective was to explain the incidence of the directive management on the educational quality in times of pandemic due to COVID-19. The method used was the quantitative approach, of descriptive type, two instruments were constructed on the Likert scale, with 22 items each, which were applied to a sample of 84 principals, belonging to privately managed schools. According to the results of the Naglkerke statistical processing, using logistic regression, the hypotheses formulated were tested and it was concluded that there was an incidence of management in times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
