Abstract

The present work was about digital educational materials and the quality parameters they must meet to be used by teachers. The objective of the research was to determine the selection of educational materials according to criteria that allow them to ensure that they comply with the quality parameters that guarantee the continuous improvement and quality of the digital educational materials used. The sample consisted of 80 teachers who teach at the higher education level and who are part of various undergraduate programs. The Learning Object Review Instrument and the Spanish Standardization Unit standard 71362 Quality of digital educational materials were applied to them. The results indicated that not all teachers take into account some quality parameters. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider the application of some minimum parameters to ensure that digital materials meet the quality required in the university environment.
