Abstract

Children's theater as a strategy of early childhood formation, starts from the intention of providing pedagogical alternatives, in correspondence to the educational curriculum of Ecuador; towards a methodology of learning by doing. The research was qualitative, descriptive design; The participating observation instruments and interview with their respective information processing provide from the analysis and interpretation of data, describe, explain the learning experiences in children from 4 to 5 years of age, of the “Juan Jacobo Rousseau” school; in relation to theater in its training process as a phenomenon studied; in the acquisition and development of skills. In conclusion; The influence of children's theater in cognitive, procedural and attitudinal development can be described positively; Serving this, as a basis for promoting advantages of communication training, socialization in different educational contexts from the dramatic game; contributing to child integral development.
