Abstract

The social reintegration and reeducation of youth in prisons is partially ignored by the general public, since adequate information is not provided, nor do they know the great work that professionals do to provide them with support. The objective was to publicize the issue of social reintegration and reeducation of the student in the penitentiary center. The methodology, according to its purpose, was applied, of qualitative information and with a correlational scope, with a sample of 121 inmates. As a result of the classes provided, it was possible to observe the existence of a change in behavior, cognition and sensitivity, this change in social awareness occurred with the help of family members, concluding that this article seeks to show what the reintegration workshops and treatments consist of. and reeducation, proposing an alternative program that becomes a project for the prisons, and thus modify all those incorrect or criminal behaviors that have led them to prison.
