The arrival of the pandemic caused many teachers to rethink their teaching processes, especially in virtual tools, so the objective of this study was to determine whether the training program in virtual tools allows improving digital competencies in teachers. The methodology was applied. Its design was pre-experimental. The survey technique was used and two questionnaires were used as instruments to measure the two study variables. The population consisted of 77 teachers at the three levels of education. The data collected have been processed and ordered to answer the objectives of the study and the hypothesis tests. The results showed that there is a significant improvement in the pedagogical performance of teachers when using technological platforms, as well as in the information about the benefits offered by new technologies in pandemic contexts.
