Abstract

The tutorial action carried out in secondary education in Peru is promoted by the Ministry of Education due to the importance of tutoring in the youth population. The objective of this research was to compare the tutorial action in its dimensions: Personal, Academic, Vocational and Family in two secondary education institutions. The population consisted of 210 students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. The design for data collection was field, the technique was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire of 80 items, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.98. As a result, it was found that the predominant dimension is Personal. It is concluded that the predominant area in the development of the tutorial action was the personal, in addition to specifying the predominant indicator of each dimension.
