Abstract

CISNEROS, Milagros Rosanna Catalán; HUAMAN, Marlene Genoveva Figueroa  and  AYALA, Rosa María Espinoza. Cooperative learning, transcending the conventional classroom. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.27, pp.87-98.  Epub Feb 28, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i27.499.

The adverse effects of social distancing due to the pandemic are causing students to lose a primordial part of their development, socialization. The virtual education that students receive turns them only into consumers of information, not even being viable for face-to-face attendance. Cooperative learning is a socializing strategy that favors students' learning, developing social skills that are indispensable for the demands of today's society. The objective of this study is to carry out a theoretical analysis of the contributions on cooperative learning and to glimpse the transcendence of this pedagogical strategy in virtual education. The methodology used was a literature review, being selected 18 articles from journals indexed in Scielo, Ebsco, Eric, Scopus and Latindex databases, prioritizing publications from 2020 to 2022; reaching the conclusion that cooperative learning is a strategy that can be adapted and transcend conventional classroom spaces.

Keywords : Cooperative learning; Virtual education; Social distancing.
