The accumulation of knowledge and skills leads to labor insertion through an updated and specialized training. The study focused on establishing the existing difference between professional training and labor competence of law school graduates in the Andean region. Under the quantitative approach, comparative descriptive design; with a sample of 210 intentionally selected graduates; the questionnaire was applied as an instrument for professional training and the psychometric test for labor competence. The results showed that the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano (UNA) had adequate professional training, followed by the Universidad Andina Néstor Cáceres Velásquez (UANCV), in comparison to the Universidad San Carlos (USC), and finally the Universidad Alas Peruanas (UAP). It is inferred that the professional training imparted in the professional law schools of the universities of the Andean region has significant differences (NS=0.000), leading to indistinct labor competencies.
