Abstract

MANRIQUE CHAVEZ, Zoraida Rocío et al. Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences in Bilingual Early Childhood Education students. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.27, pp.388-396.  Epub Jan 09, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i27.523.

The study of multiple intelligences is important because it promotes students' autonomous learning, which allows them to understand and process any subject presented to them. The main objective of this study was to identify the multiple intelligences that predominate in education students of a Peruvian university. A non-experimental research with a simple descriptive design was carried out with a probabilistic sample of 234 students enrolled in the 2020 - I semester, to whom the MINDS Multiple Intelligences Scale by Ruiz (2004) was applied. It was concluded that the predominant multiple intelligences in the students are interpersonal, naturalistic and intrapersonal. In addition, it was found that in mathematical-logical intelligence the low level of achievement predominates in a significant percentage of students (61.1%), while in the other intelligences the medium level of achievement predominates in most students.
