Abstract

VILLEGAS, David Auris et al. Science outreach: art of visibility and high impact. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2023, vol.7, n.27, pp.468-480.  Epub Jan 09, 2023. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v7i27.530.

Scientific dissemination is an art of academic visibility that aims to reach the public with a simple language through social networks, however, there are problems of dissemination due to the lack of habit of sharing the findings from the scientific community and academic institutions. We reflect on the advantages of disseminating research results, the scientific impact and the link between the scientific community and society. The work has a qualitative approach of hermeneutic and bibliographic type, concluding that, without science there is no progress, therefore, without communication of the findings, there is no sustainable development, in this sense, it is essential to build a bridge between science and community through dissemination.
