Adolescents experience various mental health disorders that need to be addressed in schools, otherwise it could lead to negative outcomes in adulthood. The present research aims to identify mental health disorders in secondary school students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used was systematic review, for which a comprehensive research search formula was developed in the SCOPUS database. After applying the eligibility criteria, 37 articles were identified for the respective analysis. From the results, it can be noted that the Asian continent has the highest amount of research with 32.43%, followed by the USA and South Korea with 10.81% each. The existence of the high prevalence of depressive and anxiety symptoms in adolescents is concluded.
