Abstract

The inverted classroom is a study modality that has had a great impact on the development of competencies in the areas of science and technology. The objective of this study is to analyze the development of competencies in the areas of science and technology by the "Fostering the Inverted Classroom" Program in an educational center in the province of Ica, Peru. It was carried out with a quasi-experimental design and a sample of 75 students. Two questionnaires were applied, the Pre Test, with 30 items divided into three dimensions: Inquire, Explain and Design and the Post Test, with the same number of 30 items. It was obtained as a result that, in the Inverted Classroom program, an improvement of at least 2.95 points was experienced in the competencies related to CYT learning. It was concluded that the diversification of educational programs and strategies contribute to the improvement of the learning process.
