Peru is a country that has little investment or concern in the educational system, unlike other countries. There is a need for students in schools to develop skills that allow them to integrate into society. The school, as an educational and socializing entity, is responsible for the role of collaborating in the formation and empowerment of good social behaviors that guide students to a positive interrelationship with their peers. In this sense, the objective of this study is to analyze social skills and teamwork in high school students. A study was carried out through a literature review, under the qualitative approach documentary analysis considering the variables social skills and teamwork. It is concluded that social skills are essential to influence behaviors, virtues, beliefs, intellectual faculties and forms of interrelation among students.
