Abstract

An adequate organizational climate allows for the professional development of teachers since this study aimed to determine the degree of relationship between organizational climate and teacher performance in educational institutions at the primary level in the district of Santa Ana, 2021. In this study, the organizational climate and performance questionnaire was applied to 180 teachers from educational institutions in the district of Santa Ana, Cusco, Peru. The results show a Spearman correlation of 0.860, which establishes a positive, statistically significant relationship (p<0.05). 71.10% of the teachers perceive a "moderate" organizational climate, 17.80% consider an "optimal" climate and 11.10% perceive a "terrible" climate associated with the performance of the teachers (74.60% perceive it as regular; 10.5% perceive it as good and 14.9% perceive it as deficient)". Organizational climate influences teachers' performance (P<0.05).
