ICTs have been used in the educational sector worldwide, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, reconfiguring its structure to meet the demands of virtual education. The objective was to analyze the use of information and communication technologies in high school students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology was a bibliographic review, the search engines used were Google Scholar and databases such as Scielo and Ebsco, 35 documents were found, including scientific articles, review articles, web pages, theses, congresses and news, 29 were selected in English and Spanish. It was concluded that the use of ICT improves their academic skills, modifies their behavior, promotes interaction and collaborative work, among other skills; therefore, information and communication technology in secondary school students is effective.
