The pedagogical practices of teachers in the classroom have an impact on student learning; the purpose of this article is to analyze the successful professional practices of teachers who have strengthened oral expression in students in the teaching and learning process. In accordance with this objective, the methodology focused on the systematic review of articles found in accredited journal in Scopus, Scielo, Dialnet and Eric from which 50 articles were obtained in total, considering 28 for the review, published between the years 2018 to 2022. The evidence showed that argumentative, techno-communicative, simulation, audiovisual and workshop strategies show advantages in their application. Therefore, it is concluded that the investigated professional practices of teachers have a significant impact on the improvement of the communicative competence of students, being essential the role of the teacher to promote their development.
