QUISPE CHOQUE, Marcelina  and  NIETO RIVAS, Elier. Open educational resources as didactic tools for learning achievement. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. [online]. 2024, vol.8, n.33, pp.992-1003.  Epub Apr 02, 2024. ISSN 2616-7964.  https://doi.org/10.33996/revistahorizontes.v8i33.778.

Access to open educational resources (OER) has emerged as a fundamental tool in the improvement of teaching and learning processes. This study seeks to analyze the impact and challenges associated with the implementation of OER in education. A literature review methodology was employed, where multiple academic sources and relevant studies on the topic were examined. The results reveal that OER offer significant opportunities to overcome time and space barriers to learning, while promoting learner motivation and accessibility for people with disabilities. However, significant challenges were identified in terms of investment in digital infrastructure, teacher training and compliance with pedagogical and technical quality criteria. In conclusion, the need to address these challenges in order to fully exploit the potential of OER in education and ensure quality and equitable education for all students is highlighted.
