Abstract

The lack of technological equipment in institutions and homes is a reality; also the lack of access to information due to the inexistence of means for communication and installation of internet networks in many rural areas in Peru, are some gaps that limited students to integrate virtual educational proposals in times of COVID-19. Therefore, the study aimed to analyze mathematical competencies in virtual education in times of pandemic. A systematic review was carried out, the search was executed in databases and platforms such as ProQuest, UNESCO Thesaurus, Springer Open, Scopus, EBSCO, Mendeley, Scielo, the descriptors were Mathematical competence, formative assessment, learning achievements. The search results yielded 85 articles, of which 17 were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. In conclusion, the achievement of student learning in the pandemic was based on the effort of teachers to reinvent themselves, strengthen their technological competencies and generate new strategies.
