Abstract
ANGULO, Norvina Marlena Marcelo; RAMIREZ, Edgar Tito Susanibar; CORDERO, Omar García and CARDENAS, José Antonio Legua. Composting of industrial bleaching earth waste for recycling as fertilizer products. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.17, pp.239-246. Epub June 27, 2022. ISSN 2664-0902. https://doi.org/10.33996/revistaalfa.v6i17.164.
The objective was to recycle the industrial residues of bleaching soil mixed with activated carbon and anchoveta oil from an oil factory, by composting it, then the composted product with fertilizing properties was applied to a selected crop to evaluate its physical characteristics and yield per ha of agricultural land, after the fertilizer obtained was applied in 5 treatments. This recycling of industrial waste is a sustainable alternative for the fertilization of various crops. The methodology used in this applied and experimental research was a completely randomized block design consisting of 3 blocks and 5 treatments, to determine the positive effect of the fertilizer product and the dose that determined the best physical and chemical characteristics in the radish crop (Raphanus sativus), which was selected among other crops because of its short harvest period. The doses of the fertilizer product were applied 10 days after sowing and evaluated from sowing to harvest, and the experimental data were obtained and processed by analysis of variance and Duncan. The results determined that the T5 treatment excelled in physical and chemical characteristics such as: plant length, total plant weight, equatorial diameter, polar diameter, and agricultural yield.
