Use of compost based on bleaching soil residues for higher yields of beet (Beta vulgaris L.), Barranca. Rev. Inv. Cs. Agro. y Vet. [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.18, pp.491-502.  Epub Dec 15, 2022. In Peru, the effects of the international crisis that has had repercussions in the increase of prices and the scarcity of imported chemical fertilizers have been felt, so in order to mitigate these problems, natural fertilizers are used to complement the action. The objective was to develop a proposal for composting the filtration residues generated in large quantities by the oil industry, which are deposited in the environment with the obvious negative environmental consequences, with some proposals for reuse and/or recycling. The bleaching soil residues were composted with other components to favor their oxygenation and nitrogen supply; for each of these requirements, dry grass and guinea pig guano were added, respectively, in a percentage by weight of 33.3% of each component. In the agricultural field, the fertilizer obtained was applied in 5 treatments, using a completely randomized block design consisting of 3 blocks and 5 treatments, to determine the positive effect of the fertilizer product and the optimum dose that determined the best physical, chemical and stomatal characteristics in the beet crop (Beta Vulgaris L). Once the experimental data were obtained, they were processed by analysis of variance and Duncan, it was determined that the T4 treatment excelled in its physical and chemical characteristics such as: plant length, total plant weight, equatorial diameter, polar diameter, and agricultural yield of the product.
