Abstract

Femicide is a serious and urgent problem in many parts of the world. The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between attitude toward feminicide and risk factors and perceived social support of public officials in the municipality of Oruro during the first semester of the 2023 administration. The approach is quantitative. The type of descriptive research. The design is correlational, non-experimental, transversal. The instruments applied are the Attitude Scale towards Femicide (EAF), the Risk Factor Scale for Femicide and Serious Partner Violence (EPF) and the Perceived Social Support Scale (MOS). The study sample includes 100 officials from public institutions in the care, prevention of gender violence and feminicide in the municipality of Oruro, during the first semester of the 2023 administration. It is concluded that, from the theory of attitude, the factors of feminicide risk and the theory of perceived social support, the attitude of public officials towards feminicide can be significantly inferred
