Abstract

CHALCO-FERNANDEZ, Julio César  and  ABARCA-CALDERON, Elizabeth. Theater as an Educational Strategy and the development of Emotional Intelligence in high school students in Cusco. Rev. aportes de la comunicación [online]. 2021, n.31, pp.93-108. ISSN 2306-8671.

Abstract The objective of the study was to determine the influence of Theater as an Educational Strategy to develop Emotional Intelligence in high school students from Cusco. Applied quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design was used. Data of 15 students in the experimental group and 15 in the control group was obtained with the Bar-On EQ-i-YV Emotional Intelligence Inventory. The experimental group watched eight virtual theater sessions was. The most impor-tant result is that the Educational Strategy of Theater was decisive to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal dimensions on the experimental group.
