Digital competencies provide the necessary mechanisms to demonstrate the development of skills, knowledge and attitudes of students; therefore, teachers are the main responsible for promoting the development of digital competencies. The objective was to establish the relationship between digital competencies and teacher self-evaluation in a Peruvian university, who belong to different professional faculties. The research methodology was basic, non-experimental, descriptive correlational. As an instrument, questionnaires were applied to each of the variables, which were validated by experts and analyzed by Cronbach's alpha to obtain reliability. The results showed that there is no direct correlation between the variables studied, as well as in their dimensions. From this, it is concluded that digital competencies are strategies that help in the teaching process, but do not have a direct relationship with teachers' self-evaluation.
