MONTENEGRO SANTACRUZ, Hermenegildo; MOCARRO WILLIS, María Lucía  and  CENTURION-LARREA, Angel Johel. Virtual formative assessment in psychomotricity. Horizontes Rev. Inv. Cs. Edu. This study addresses the issue of formative assessment in psychomotor skills, focusing on the transformation of educational practices during the period of sanitary isolation by COVID-19. A comprehensive review of the academic literature was conducted using databases such as Scopus, Scielo and EBSCO, selecting relevant articles published in the last two years. From this review, trends in the importance of formative assessment for the psychomotor development of students were identified, as well as the need for teacher training in formative assessment strategies. Both the benefits and challenges of implementing formative assessments, especially in virtual environments, are discussed, and different pedagogical approaches to improve evaluative practice are explored. In conclusion, the importance of formative assessment as a fundamental tool for students' learning and integral development in the current context of education is highlighted.
