Abstract

This study describes the importance of the use of innovative strategies to improve the pedagogical practice of university teachers based on different research on the subject. The methodology applied was the systematic review, based on the PRISMA statement. The search was carried out in Scielo, Dialnet, Scopus and Sciencedirect. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were considered for the bibliographic compilation, which yielded 29 sources as search results. Among the results are the need for pedagogical training of university teachers on transformative strategies that allow them to improve their knowledge and pedagogical practice. It is concluded that the continuous training of university teachers is essential to face educational changes and the new ways of learning demanded by current societies.
