VARGAS SALAZAR, Karin Noelen. Relationship between “Family Climate” and “Work Performance” in the collaborators of the Bolivian Central Mission. Impulso [online]. 2024, vol.4, n.6, pp.25-36. ISSN 2959-9040. https://doi.org/10.59659/impulso.v.4i6.27.
Work and family are fundamental components for the progress of any society. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between Family Climate and Work Performance in the collaborators of the Central Bolivian Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Cochabamba, Bolivia. A quantitative approach at a descriptive-correlational level was adopted, with a population of thirty workers, divided into twelve women and eighteen men, aged between 19 and 60 years. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, and the instruments used were the Family Social Climate Scale (addressing relationships, development and stability) and the Work Performance Survey (evaluating achievement of objectives, work quality, among others). The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between family climate and work performance in all the dimensions studied. This finding highlights the importance of a positive family environment on individuals’ work performance.
