Abstract In this work is pondered the public policies of irrigation in Bolivia, its principled accomplishments and the way they are received by the involved actors in this activity. The time lapse used go from 2000 to 2014, marked by the flourish of indigenous in politics, both from farmers and indigenous' movements and leaderships in Bolivia; time in which simultaneously the Bolivia State el has assumed a series of agreements, declarations and international pronunciations that draw the mainlines of the prevalent ideas (mainstream) in the basics to the formulation of hydric policies, of genre and interculturalism.
