Resumen

GONZALEZ ALMADA, Magdalena. Of customs and smuggling: “disseminated texts” in contemporary Latin America. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2022, vol.26, n.49, pp.81-99.  Epub 30-Nov-2022. ISSN 2077-3323.

This article proposes to analyze some writings that cross contemporary subjectivities in relation to problems that materialize in two unfailingly related components: language and territory. The literary productions of Emma Villazón (Bolivia, 1983-2015) and Fabián Severo (Uruguay, 1981) expose some limits of the territorial administration system of the Nation-States always ready to establish borders -territorial, linguistic among those that interest this work- that are questioned by singular poetics. In this sense, notions such as border and migration will be summoned in this work in order to analyze the writings of Villazón and Severo.

Palabras clave : borders; Emma Villazón; Fabián Severo; migration; contemporary Latin American literatures.
