Abstract In Bolivia, proper regulation of cryptocurrencies is needed to prevent their use in illegal activities and ensure user protection. It is important to establish clear and effective legislation to define and classify these digital assets, impose requirements and measures for their construction, issuance, sale, and protection, and require cryptocurrency service providers to comply with rules to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing. Tax procedures for cryptocurrencies should also be established and users should be required to disclose their transactions and holdings in their tax testimony
