At present, it is not possible to perform the practices in person with the tools, elements and instruments of an electronic laboratory, this leads to the search for a tool that allows from the virtuality to have an approximation to the practices that were performed in the classroom workshops. The objective of this study is to use Tinkercad as a strategic tool for the construction of significant learning in the Informatics career of the Universidad Central del Ecuador. A descriptive study with a qualitative-quantitative approach was carried out, which was applied with a questionnaire to 50 students. The results of this research show a high percentage of lack of knowledge, use and application of Tinkercad in the process of meaningful learning. Finally, it was demonstrated that it is a simulator to optimize the understanding of the operation of electronic circuits through learning by discovery, raising the cognitive level, acquiring skills and abilities in students efficiently, effectively and tending to excellence.
