Gender violence consists of shaming, raising one's voice, repeatedly shaming a person, assaulting him/her, depriving him/her of contact and emotional comfort, which is currently occurring after confinement. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the perception of gender violence and its emotional repercussion in rural families, and it is of a descriptive correlational type, with a population of 122 families. A survey and perception inventory were applied, contrasting with the hypothesis posed where: Women consider that they suffer gender violence 66.4% in ladies, 42.6% in men, 54.1% suffer physical aggression from their partners, 45.9% psychological aggression from their partners, 68.0% comes from their partner, 32.0% is from another family member a 77.9% comes from economic factor, 18.0% to lack of communication, 4.1% from the social factor. It is concluded that gender violence is directly related to the emotional repercussion.
