The research investigates the teaching practices that attend the teaching of the adult worker in the evening and executive modality of the careers of the faculty of education from the perspective of andragogy. The objective was to explore the use of specific strategies for adult education used by teachers of the executive and evening modalities. The method used is Mixed, exploratory, non-experimental, with a data collection technique consisting of a survey with open and closed questions. Knowledge based on experience for adult care is evidenced, following some premises of andragogy. It is necessary to formalize the teaching practice at an andragogical level with adult students, so that the teaching experience is translated into an institutional heritage that allows debugging strategies and guiding teachers in the use of specific didactic strategies to meet educational needs.
