This study examined the relationship between the use of Chat GPT and English language learning among university students. A descriptive and correlational quantitative research design was utilized, with a sample of 162 students from a Peruvian university. Data were collected through surveys and analyzed using statistical tests, including Spearman correlation. Results showed a significant correlation (r = 0.726, p < 0.05) between the use of Chat GPT and English language learning, suggesting that the use of this tool may positively influence students' academic performance. However, it was found that the use of Chat GPT and the level of English language learning were mostly regular among surveyed students, indicating the need to improve the implementation and experience of Chat GPT in the educational context.
