The present article defends the existence of a valuable dimension of the national identity, which today must be claimed, purifying of its concept those elements that connecting it with exclusion, racism or xenophobia. It is the right of the national community to decide on itself,with autonomy, without prefigured results and as universal exigency.And we affirm it from the conviction that the national identity appears today as defense of the own personal identity, in the context of an increasing globalization, which stimulates to the construction of a new model of Multinational State.
